Famed for its miles of sandy beaches, Agadir is a playground for sun-seekers and surfers. The city centre is a relatively recent development, with wide avenues and a seafront promenade. The medina is a maze of narrow streets, lined with traditional houses and busy markets. Don’t miss the kasbah, perched above the city, and the nearby Souss-Massa National Park, with its rugged mountains, forests and wildlife. Agadir is also a great base for exploring the rest of Morocco, with its dramatic landscapes, ancient cities and colourful markets.
