Ağdam is a city in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, an unrecognized republic in the South Caucasus. Ağdam was the capital of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic from 1992 to 1993. The city has been completely abandoned since the Nagorno-Karabakh War. The city is located in the Martakert Province.
