Occupying a large chunk of the island of Côn Đảo, this national park is one of the most biodiverse areas in all of Vietnam. With over 1,500 species of plants, 100 of which are endemic, as well as over 300 species of animals, the park is a nature lover’s paradise. The park is also home to a wide variety of ecosystems, from rainforest to mangrove, and from coral reefs to sandy beaches. Visitors can explore the park on foot, by bicycle, or by boat, and there are a number of trails and lookout points to discover. Keep an eye out for the endangered Irrawaddy dolphin, which is found only in the waters around Côn Đảo.
