Chad

Chad is a landlocked country in Central Africa. It is bordered by Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, the Central African Republic to the south, Cameroon and Nigeria to the southwest, and Niger to the west.

Chad is home to over 200 different ethnic and linguistic groups. The majority of the population is Muslim, with a significant Christian minority. Arabic and French are the official languages, but many Chadian people also speak English, or one of the local African languages.

There are many reasons to visit Chad. The country is home to some of the most stunning landscapes in Africa, including the Sahara Desert, Lake Chad, and the Tibesti Mountains. Chad is also home to a number of unique wildlife species, including the black rhinoceros, cheetah, and addax.

The food in Chad is a delicious mix of African, Arab, and French influences. Common dishes include stewed meats, couscous, and spicy chili sauces.
