City in 🇸🇪 Sweden with a population of around 94 thousand people.

Helsingborg is a coastal city in southern Sweden, just across the Öresund Strait from Copenhagen, Denmark. It’s known for its vibrant cultural life, with a lively nightlife and a strong arts and music scene. The city’s cobblestone streets are lined with historic buildings, including the 13th-century Kärnan fortress and the Gothic-style St. Maria Church. Helsingborg is also a major port, and its busy harbor is a popular spot for watching the sun set over the Öresund Strait.

What people say

Helsingborg is one of the nicest cities in Sweden and one of few that I would consider moving to. I have lived in Gothenburg, Örebro, Västerås, Trollhättan, and spent plenty of time in Stockholm. I love that the city makes proper use of being on the coast with city beaches, and how the downtown area stretches all the way down to the water. There is plenty of nice architecture, it is pedestrian-friendly, it is green, there are many coffee shops, and I like the vibe and the friendly locals. Visit in the summer, have some ice cream by the water, and explore the coastline on a bicycle.
