City in 🇸🇪 Sweden with a population of around 60 thousand people.

Eskilstuna is a small city in central Sweden, about an hour’s drive from Stockholm. It’s best known for its ironworks, which have been making steel since the 16th century. The old ironworks are now a museum, and the city has turned into a trendy place to live and work, with a lively arts and nightlife scene. There’s a lot of green space, too, thanks to the massive Lake Mälaren, which stretches right up to the city centre. In summer, locals flock to the lakeside beaches and parks, and in winter, the nearby forests are popular for skiing and snowboarding.
