Brännö is one of the islands that make up the Gothenburg archipelago. It’s the biggest and most populated of the islands, and also the most rural, with a population of around 1,000. The island is car-free, which means that the only way to get around is by bike or on foot. This gives the island a wonderfully peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, and it’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are a few small shops and restaurants on the island, as well as a few beaches. The main attraction, however, is the natural beauty of the island. There are plenty of forests and nature trails to explore, and the views across the archipelago are simply stunning.
