Kraljevo

Kraljevo is a city in central Serbia, on the Ibar river. It is the administrative center of the Raška District. According to the 2011 census, the city has a population of 78,531 inhabitants. The city was founded by King Stefan Milutin in 1314. It was the capital of the medieval Serbian Kingdom. Kraljevo is a major industrial center in Serbia. The city is home to the "Kraljevo Industries" steel mill, the "Kraljevo Paper Mill", the "Kraljevo Sugar Refinery" and the "Kraljevo Brewery". The city is also home to the "Kraljevo University" and the "Kraljevo Medical School".
