Biržai

Biržai is a small town in northeastern Lithuania, located on the banks of the Nevėžis River. It is the administrative center of the Biržai district municipality. The town has a population of 9,814 (as of 2011). Biržai is known for its Biržai Palace, a late Renaissance palace built in the 17th century.
