Yokohama is Japan’s second largest city and a major port on the Pacific coast. It’s best known for its Chinatown, the largest in Asia, and for its cosmopolitan atmosphere, with a mix of cultures from all over the world. The city is also home to Japan’s largest theme park, Yokohama Landmark Tower, and to Minato Mirai, a huge development on the waterfront with a range of attractions, including the Bay Area Museum, the Cup Noodle Museum and the Red Brick Warehouse, a shopping and entertainment complex. Yokohama is a great place to eat, with a wide range of restaurants serving everything from sushi to steak. There’s also a lively nightlife, with bars and clubs to suit all tastes.
