There are many ancient ruins to see, and the culture is very different from Western culture. The capital city, Tehran, is home to many historical sites, including the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and the National Museum of Iran. Other popular tourist destinations include the cities of Esfahan and Shiraz.
The cuisine is also very unique and delicious. Some popular dishes include kebabs, rice dishes, flatbreads, and stews.
