Osijek is a city on the Drava River in eastern Croatia. It's known for its 18th-century baroque architecture and as the birthplace of Franjo Tuđman, Croatia's first president. The St. Peter and Paul Cathedral has a Gothic Revival facade and a Neo-Renaissance interior. The city's Gradski vrt (City Garden) is a park with a lake, a rose garden and a playground. The Erdody Palace has a Rococo facade. The Tobacco Museum has exhibits on the history of tobacco production.
