Honduras

Honduras is a country located in Central America. It is bordered by Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. The capital and largest city is Tegucigalpa and the official language is Spanish.

Honduras is home to the Maya ruins of Copan. Copan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological sites in the Maya world. Other interesting places to visit in Honduras include the Bay Islands, the Mosquito Coast, and the city of Comayagua. Honduras is also a great place to go hiking, bird watching, and fishing.

The food in Honduras is a mix of Spanish, Maya, and Afro-Caribbean influences. Some popular dishes include baleadas, tamales, and Honduranstyle enchiladas.
