Town in 🇩🇪 Germany with a population of around 36 thousand people.

St. Ingbert is a small town in the Saarland region of southwestern Germany. It's located in the foothills of the Hunsrück mountain range, about an hour's drive from both the French and Luxembourg borders. The town is best known for its annual Christmas market, which takes place in the main square in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The market is one of the most popular in the region, with dozens of stalls selling a variety of traditional Christmas goods, from ornaments and decorations to food and drink. There's also a large Ferris wheel and a carousel for the kids, as well as a live nativity scene. In addition to the Christmas market, St. Ingbert is a pleasant town to wander around any time of year. The narrow streets are lined with half-timbered houses, and there are several small parks and a couple of interesting churches.
