Liberec

Liberec is a city in the north of the Czech Republic, situated on the river Elbe (Labe) and surrounded by the Jizera Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains. It is the largest city in the Liberec Region and has about 100,000 inhabitants. The city was founded in 1242 by King Wenceslaus I of Bohemia.
