Rio Branco

Rio Branco is a small town in the Brazilian state of Acre, near the border with Peru. It’s a great place to stop if you’re travelling overland between the two countries, as it’s the last major town in Brazil before the border. Rio Branco is a typical small Brazilian town, with a main square, a few churches and a few small shops. It’s a great place to buy souvenirs, as there are a few markets where you can buy traditional handicrafts from the local tribes. The town is also a great place to eat, as there are a few restaurants serving up traditional Brazilian food.
